水平井恒压力梯度控压钻井新技术

Constant pressure gradient mpd for horizontal wells

摘要:  长水平段水平井钻井面临井眼清洁困难,经常遇到摩擦扭矩、起下钻摩阻大甚至卡钻等问题,在安全 密度窗口窄的地层钻进时由于井眼小、水平段长,当量循环密度还会引起裸眼延伸长度受到限制,所以,钻井中要 被迫下多层套管。Reelwell公司的一种全新的反循环钻井技术,可以从根本上解决这些矛盾,通过介绍和分析RDM技术原理、相关的钻井工具与钻井液、现场试验情况证实,可以在井筒保持静液柱压力而实现压力管理钻井; 钻柱浮力效应改善了水平段钻柱摩阻;管状上返液通道采用小排量就可以获得极佳的井眼清洁效果。

Abstract: Long horizontal well drilling is often challenged by poor hole cleaning, drag torque, or even sticking is often observed, which will restrict the extension of horizontal intervals through narrow mud window formations and thus more casing strings have to be run. A reverse circulation drilling technology with a dual drill string by Reelwell is introduced herein for above mentioned challenges. Its principle, tools, drilling fluid used and field test data analysis are presented. The test in a shallow horizontal well has verified that the new technology can realise MPD while maintaining the hydrostatic pressure in the borehole. The torque and drag can be reduced due to the drill string buoyancy. And efficient hole cleaning can be obtained at low flow rates due to return flow inside the dual drill string.
